Commercial Finishing

Commercial Walls, Built To Deadline.

Drywall and finishing for restaurants, offices, court houses, and retail. Crews scaled to project size and built to deadline.

What kinds of commercial spaces do you finish?

The kinds where the walls are part of the first impression. Restaurants where diners sit two feet from the finish. Offices and court houses where long corridors and big open rooms show every flaw in raking light. Retail spaces and tenant buildouts where the landlord's spec and the tenant's opening date are both non negotiable. We hang, finish, texture, and paint drywall for all of them, across Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.

  • Scaled Crews

And because commercial work runs on schedules, one more thing worth stating plainly: we scale the crew to the project and hold the same quality standard at every size.

How does a drywall sub keep a commercial job on schedule?

By staffing for the size of the job instead of stretching one crew across it. A tenant buildout with a hard opening date needs more hands than a house remodel, so we bring them. Scaled crews are the difference between a finishing sub that keeps the schedule and one that becomes the schedule problem. GCs and property managers get one point of contact, straight answers on timing, and a crew that shows up sized for the milestone in front of it.

What finish level should a commercial interior spec?

It depends on the wall. Back of house and utility areas do fine at a standard finish. Public facing walls, lobbies, and anywhere with long sight lines under strong lighting deserve a level 5 smooth finish, the full skim coat grade we build for high end commercial walls. If the space uses texture instead, our texture and spray crew handles every standard variant. We can walk the plans with you and spec the right level per area, so you are not paying level 5 rates for a storage room.

What affects the cost of commercial finishing?

Square footage and wall height first, then finish level, schedule, and site conditions. Night work, phased areas, and occupied buildings all shape the bid, and so does whether the scope stops at paint ready or runs through final paint. Estimates are free and the scope is spelled out clearly, so the number you plan around is the number you get.

Insured and accountable.

We carry $1 million in liability insurance on every job, with documentation available on request for your compliance file. If damage turns up mid project, on your site or after handover, our emergency patch work crew responds same day in most cases.

Commercial Questions

What GCs And Managers Ask First.

What types of commercial projects do you take on?
Restaurants, offices, court houses, retail spaces, and tenant buildouts across Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas. We handle the drywall and finishing scope from hang to paint ready, and painting too if the project wants one contractor for both.
Can you meet a hard construction deadline?
That is what scaled crews are for. We staff the crew to fit the project size and schedule, so a large buildout gets the manpower it needs instead of a residential sized crew stretched thin.
Are you insured for commercial work?
Yes. Guevara Finishing & Interiors carries $1 million in liability insurance on every job, and documentation is available on request for your GC or property manager file.
Do you do high end finishes on commercial walls?
Yes. Level 5 smooth finish is part of our regular commercial work for lobbies, storefronts, and any wall that faces critical lighting. Skim coated, sanded, and ready for paint.
