Most remodels fall apart in the handoffs. Demo crew leaves, framer comes and goes, a drywall sub shows up two weeks later, then a painter finds problems nobody owns. We skip most of that. Guevara Finishing does the demo, the framing, the drywall, the texture, and the paint, so the walls you end up looking at were built and finished by the same people. Fewer trades on the schedule means fewer delays and nobody to point at when something is not right.

Where should the money go in a remodel?
Into the things you cannot change later. Layout, framing, and wall finish set the ceiling on how good a room can look, and no amount of fixtures or paint color rescues a room with wavy walls and a bad texture match. We push clients to spend on getting the shell right first, then pick finishes with whatever is left. It is the opposite of how most remodels get sold and it is why our finished rooms photograph well.
Can you open up a wall between rooms?
On non structural walls, yes, and that single change does more for a dated house than almost anything else. We handle the demo, reframe what is left, then patch and texture the ceiling and adjacent walls so there is no ghost line where the wall used to be. If the wall carries load, we say so at the estimate instead of finding out halfway through.
What does a remodel cost?
It depends on how much comes out before anything goes back in. Cosmetic work like new texture and paint across a room is the low end. Kitchens, bathrooms, and basement conversions cost more because of demo, framing, and the trades that come with moving water and power. We quote after a free on site walk through so the number matches your actual room, and we tell you where the cost is going.
