Patch & Repair

Repairs That Disappear.

Fast patch work for holes, water damage, cracked corners, and texture matching. Looks like the damage was never there.

Can drywall damage be repaired, or does the wall need replacing?

Almost all everyday drywall damage can be repaired. A doorknob hole, a cracked corner, a ceiling stain from a fixed leak, or a wall that took a hit during a move does not mean new drywall for the room. We cut out or fill what is damaged, rebuild the surface, and blend it into the wall around it. Replacement only enters the conversation when large areas are compromised, and if that is your situation we will say so plainly and walk you through what the drywall work would involve.

The repairs we handle every week:

  • Hole & Damage Repair
  • Water Damage Restoration
  • Texture Matching
  • Corner Bead Replacement

Why do most drywall patches end up visible?

Because the patch is the easy part and the blending is the hard part. Anyone can screw in a piece of board and cover it with mud. What gives a repair away is the flat spot in the middle of a textured wall, or a patch of new texture that is close but not quite right. Texture matching is where we separate ourselves: we identify the existing pattern, match its depth and density, and feather the new surface into the old until the repair has no edges. That skill comes from our texture and spray work, where matching is the whole trade.

What about water damage?

Water damage needs more than cosmetics. Wet drywall loses its strength and can hold problems inside the wall, so we assess how far the damage runs, remove what is compromised, and rebuild the area properly before finishing and texturing it to match. The result is a wall or ceiling that is sound, not just covered up. If a leak just happened and you need it handled fast, our emergency patch work service is built for exactly that call.

What affects the cost of a drywall repair?

The size and number of damaged spots, whether the damage reaches into the board or just the surface, ceiling versus wall, and how complex the surrounding texture is to match. A small single patch is a quick visit. Widespread water damage across a ceiling is a bigger scope. Either way you get a free estimate and a clear price before we start, and the finished repair is ready for paint, which we can also handle so the color matches wall to wall.

Repair Questions

What Homeowners Ask Us.

Will the patch be visible afterward?
Not if we do our job right. The goal on every repair is that it looks like the damage was never there. We match the surrounding texture and finish the patch flush, so once paint goes on, the wall reads as one surface.
Do you repair water damaged drywall?
Yes. Water damage restoration is part of our patch and repair work. We remove the damaged material, replace it, and finish and texture the area to match the rest of the wall or ceiling.
What is corner bead and can you replace it?
Corner bead is the rigid strip that gives outside drywall corners their straight, durable edge. It dents and cracks when it takes a hit. We replace damaged corner bead and refinish the corner so it is crisp again.
Is a small repair too small to call about?
No. No job too big or small is how we operate. A single hole from a doorknob is a real job to us, and estimates are free either way.
